The Melrose Titanium was designed and built to be the lightest wheelchair in the Melrose lifestyle range. It is constructed with Titanium because it has the highest strength to density ratio of any metallic element. It is fabricated and welded to the highest standard by a team of skilled engineers and welders.

The chair is completely custom built with camber, wheels sizes, seat width, depth and heights to your individual requirements. You also have the ability to adjust the camber bar position changing your balance point.

FIXED FRAME ADJUSTABLE POSITION EVERYDAY WHEELCHAIR.

The stallion is a fixed frame adjustable position wheelchair. You can adjust the camber, the balance position, the seat to ground height, and with the adjustable angle and height folding back you can also adjust your rake and squeeze. It is extremely versatile and its user manual provides instructions for easy adjustment by the user, therapist or technician.

It can be optioned up with a host of accessories that perform very well on its robust frame. A sturdy lightweight reliable wheelchair with all the adjustability you require, this is a favourite everyday chair that has proved very popular.

FIXED FRAME SUSPENSION EVERYDAY WHEELCHAIR

An everyday lightweight chair designed and built to provide a comfortable ride by reducing jarring and vibration. This has been achieved by utilising the Frog Legs Suspension technology.

Melrose Kiwi Concept Chair’s other suspension wheelchair is the Cobra, which uses the low elastic modulus (springyness) of the titanium frame.

FIXED FRAME LIGHTWEIGHT ADJUSTABLE BALANCE EVERYDAY WHEELCHAIR.

The Melrose Piranha has a very compact ultra lightweight frame. The design offers the added advantage of having no underframe to impede lifting in and out of a vehicle.

It is completely custom built to the individual’s specifications for size, rake, hanger angle, taper and camber. It has an adjustable camber bar position allowing you to alter your centre of gravity. It can also be built with the Ergo Seat System.

The design can be adapted to provide extra strength with a behind heel bar and/or the mount bracket for the drive lock system in a vehicle.

FIXED FRAME SUPER LIGHT EVERYDAY WHEELCHAIR.

This wheelchair is NOT available to people over 80kg.

The Melrose Cobra is an everyday lightweight wheelchair designed and built to provide a comfortable ride by reducing jarring and vibration. This has been achieved this by utilising the low elastic modulus (springyness) of the titanium frame.

Cobra is their lightest wheelchair made from titanium, the lightweight construction reduces stress and wear on your arms and shoulders. The design also has no underframe, this assists when lifting the wheelchair over yourself – for example: when getting in a motor vehicle without a hoist.

There is also a small amount of camber bar position adjustment so you can change your wheelchair balance position.

A step up from the Panther, the Extreme is the ultimate in compact frames.

It is a lightweight extremely strong fixed frame wheelchair for the truly active person.  The heel bar prevents your feet from sliding backwards without the need for a heel strap while the single under frame bar provides strength while reducing the bulk of 2 lower side rails.  This makes it ideal for users who lift the wheelchair over themselves when loading into a vehicle.  The rigid strength makes for a very long lasting frame that maintains its alignment for years to come.
